Dos and Don’ts

There are some really bad sites out there. Here are the most important qualities of a good website:

• The site looks professional and represents your company’s brand.
• The site is not complicated or confusing.
• Customers get your information quickly and easily.
• The site gets picked up by the search engines, which enable it to show on key searches.
• Information your customers needs to take action is easy to find (preferably on the homepage), like a phone number, address, and/or map.

Here are things to avoid:

• Don’t hide your contact information.
• Don’t hide your address.
• Don’t hide your phone number.
• Don’t have a site with all images or flash.
• Don’t have a shoddy looking site.
